FENOMENA NETRALITAS INSAN MEDIA KOTA BANDUNG PADA MASA PEMILU ‎‎‎2024‎

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami fenomena netralitas insan media di Kota Bandung selama tahun politik 2024. Metode fenomenologi digunakan sebagai kerangka untuk mewawancarai tiga orang insan media melalui telepon pada tanggal 7 Maret 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecondongan insan media di tahun politik 2024 sesuai dengan teori preferensi politik, di mana mereka cenderung mendukung entitas politik yang dianggap dapat memenuhi kebutuhan mereka. Hal ini dapat terjadi secara pasif melalui ideologi politik perusahaan tempat mereka bekerja, atau secara aktif dengan mencari sekutu. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini menyoroti bahwa insan media memiliki tingkat keterikatan yang berbeda dalam mendukung entitas politik, baik secara pasif maupun aktif, untuk memenuhi kebutuhan ideologis dan kesejahteraan pribadi mereka.
